Another advantage of decorative epoxy coatings and overlays is that they’re waterproof.  So, for instance, if you have a multi-level home, surfacing your bath or laundry room with  a seamless waterproof overlay material will create not only a solid durable decorative surface but eliminate the huge potential mess or damage from water seeping below the surface or to lower level floors in the event of minor unexpected “floods” or overflows.
