Ann Arbor’s own Seva restaurant is sporting new custom table tops and unique new floors these days courtesy of Gary Grover and A2 Faux Flooring. Restaurants are one of those businesses that attend to the condition of their flooring on a continuous basis and this year Seva owners decided a full resurfacing was the way to go, for both practical and aesthetic purposes. With the help of A2 Faux Flooring, they now have a unique durable custom floor and outdoor table tops.
Seva is one of Ann Arbor’s best loved restaurants and regular A2 News Reader’s Choice winner. Since 1973, Seva Restaurant has been Ann Arbor’s stop for great vegetarian cuisine. CONCRETE — A “GREEN” BUILDING ALTERNATIVE
Making concrete countertops and surfaces locally is a sustainable and green alternative. Compare the carbon footprint of concrete to granite which is quarried in Italy, hauled to China to be polished, then shipped to the United states, and finally trucked to a person’s residence. The materials in concrete are typically all harvested within a local 100 mile radius of a person’s home. Additionally, if a different finishing is preferred in the future, resurfacing can be an effective solution during a remodel avoiding a tear out and eliminating landfill waste. And, if removal is necessary, concrete is a recyclable material.

The CAM Expo was a success as crowds of visitors were WOW’d by our huge decorative concrete, acid stain, overlay and stamped sample flooring display. A2 Faux Flooring shared a booth with another Elite Crete contractor, Abstract Concrete.
